Personal Bio:
If I were to meet you on the street, I would ask what you did last weekend, what the family is up to, and if there was anything I could pray for you for right then. Because that is a huge part of my life…just connecting with those I meet. And talking about the awesome love of God.
“We must go out into a desert of some kind (your backyard will do) and come into a personal experience of the awesome love of God.”
― Brennan Manning, The Ragamuffin Gospel: Good News for the Bedraggled, Beat-Up, and Burnt Out
I love that because that is how I feel sometimes…Bedraggled, Beat-Up, and Burnt-Out.
Whether it is wondering if what I do matters, or if I was up late with the kids and I am just so very tired, sometimes I just feel like I cannot handle one more thing. If you feel the same way, I am right with you.
“Friendship is born at that moment when one person says to another: “What! You too? I thought that no one but myself . . .”
— C.S. Lewis (The Four Loves)
I pray this space you have found is one of friendship, grace, and an acceptance of each other as we journey together learning about this awesome love of God Who helps us live this life we were given.
Here are a few of the people that make me “bedraggled,” but I truly wouldn’t want it any other way!
I adore being a wife to my childhood sweetheart and mama to one princess and three princes. Our house may be chaotic at times, but we try to keep it full of love.
Let’s share stories and encourage one another!
